WEED PROBLEMS?

One of our main areas of specialty is keeping your hardscape areas clear of vegetation.

When weeds invade the cracks of your sidewalks, parking lots and gravel areas they

become a major eye-sore. If not controlled, they can further open cracks to

weathering processes, lowering the lifespan of your pavement.

This customer chose to have herbicide treatments to their private pond, followed

by the physical removal of all cattails, phragmites, and filamentous algae.

Are Phragmites Invading Your Property?

The first step in coming up with a pest management strategy for phragmites is proper

identification. Two subspecies of the common reed are present in Michigan: americanus

(native subspecies) and australis (invasive subspecies).

They should also not be confused with the common cattail.

Based upon the

client’s wants

and needs, along

with proper plant ID,

and environmental

location, we develop

a plan that could include

herbicide treatment,

and or later physical

removal, with possible

follow-up maintenance.

Neglected baseball diamonds are also a focus of ours.

With the right herbicide mixture, we can eliminate the

unwanted vegetation invading the infield, fence-lines,

dugouts, and warning path of your diamond.
