Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide our customers and the community with a friendly, professional, service using safe environmental practices

Owner: Pat Leigh of Taylor and his nephew Randy Overton of New Boston, operate the business together. Pat Leigh is a retired firefighter from the City of Taylor since 1995. Randy relocated from Alma Michigan to be closer to his family and to help his uncle with the business. Both say that their relationship has grown and so has the business. Randy is now becoming part owner of Weed Eraser, Inc.

Some Background: Pat originally began vegetation control as a hobby in his retirement. He found he really enjoyed working outside, working with people, and the beautiful results of eliminating unwanted vegetation. As people noticed the results of his work, they started asking him for help with their own vegetation problems. Thus began Weed Eraser, Inc.

Specialty: We are a unique, one-of-a-kind business in Michigan. We specialize in industrial, commercial, and apartment complexes as well as school systems, municipalities, storage lots, and dealerships. We focus on roadways, sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, mulch areas, fence lines, gravel areas, etc. We remove trees, brush, vines, shrubs, and any unwanted vegetation. Another specialty is the treatment of poison ivy. We are environmentally conscious and all employees are state licensed & certified. Pat Leigh is a state certified instructor. Two employees also have an aquatic license.

What potential customers might be surprised by: We have a very high customer satisfaction rate as we guarantee ZERO re-growth for an entire growing season. For our first time customers, we don’t even bill them until we are sure that they are 100% satisfied.

Volunteer: We volunteer in the City of Detroit, Local Churches and Blight Busters

Our president is a State Certified Instructor

Testing is performed by Department of Agriculture

Aquatic testing is performed by Department of Environmental Quality
